Windshieldink app for iPhone and iPad

Windshieldink is a FREE license plate messaging app that allows you to make yourself reachable via your license plate number. Anyone can use the app to send instant messages to registered Windshieldink users simply using their vehicle license plate number. Messages can be received in three different ways; via in-app chat, via email, and via SMS phone text. Its all done ANONYMOUSLY and its FREE!

The app also works in unison with Windshieldink’s other business services (Fleeter, Connects, Alerter). By the way, your GPS location can be included in your message if you need to give someone your location.

WHY USE WINDSHIELDINK?
Windshieldink allows you to be reachable at any time while you are away from your vehicle and allows you to reach out to other registered Windshieldink vehicle owners. Whether you have left your car lights on, your car alarm is going off, there’s a pet in a hot car, or someone needs you to move your car... Windshieldink can assist in resolving any of these situations! You may not get many license plate messages but it may be a critical time when you do. It’s like insurance; you never know when you need it only this is free.

The app can access our three business services, providing added capability. FLEETER allows businesses to receive road safety message about their drivers via the app. CONNECTS provides the app a simple way to contact a business with an easy to remember ID. ALERTER provides a way for the app to check posted stolen or missing vehicles license plates.


APP FEATURES
- Register a free account using the mobile app or website (windshieldink.com)
- Owning a vehicle is not a requirement to use the message sending capability

- Messages are received from Windshieldink via phone text (Canada-USA only), email, and in-app chat
- Register two free vehicles and assign an email to each license plate
- Send and receive up to 5 messages per hour
- Verify vehicle registration before sending a message
- Tag your contact information or GPS location into a message
- View the tagged GPS location in Google Maps
